Since 2024, the Montagu Harvest Festival has proudly formed part of Art Deco Month in Montagu — a celebration of heritage, style, community spirit, and the timeless charm of our town. What began as a unique gathering around a beautifully set long table has grown into a meaningful annual tradition that brings people together through food, music, art, and shared experiences.
The festival is about more than celebration; it is about giving back. Each year, funds raised through the event are directed to worthy local causes that strengthen our community. In 2024, we were honoured to support the Montagu NG Church. In 2025, contributions were made to the valuable work of Montagu Cares. Now, on 26 April 2026, we continue this spirit of generosity by supporting both the Montagu Koshuis (Huis van Velden) and once again Montagu Cares.
The Montagu Harvest Festival reminds us that when a community comes together, wonderful things happen. We celebrate our local produce, our creative spirit, our beautiful town, and most importantly, the people who make Montagu so special. Every ticket purchased, every table shared, and every moment enjoyed helps make a real difference in the lives of others.
Join us as we celebrate with purpose, honour our heritage, and harvest hope for our community.

What a night! 
The Montagu Harvest Long Table was pure magic — Art Deco style, friendly chatter, incredible food, the finest wines, and a roaring Klein Karoo night filled with warmth and prosperity inside The Toy Box. We are so grateful for such a memorable evening!
A heartfelt thank you to the organising team, Karien van Niekerk, entertainer Diva, and the talented young people of Dancescape SA from Zolani for making the night unforgettable.
Cheers to our wonderful wine farms: Arendsig, BluVines, Kranskop, Montagu Winery, Retief Family Vineyards, Weltevrede and Lords — serving only the very best.
With true community spirit, we welcomed many visitors who left with beautiful Roaring Klein Karoo memories. We look forward to seeing you all again next year in April for Art Deco Month in Montagu!
