Sandvlei Kuier Huis

Sandvlei Kuierhuis is a beautiful farm house about 50km outside Montagu on the R318. It is a four bedroom house , 3 rooms with a double bed and one room with 2 single beds. The living area spacious and has indoor braai facilities as well as a outside braai area. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge,freezer, stove/oven, microwave and washing machine.

A group of friends, a company or family will have a relaxing and stress free stay with enough common spaces to spend quality time together whilst still having their own rooms. Our farm provides various activities for our guests such as biking, hiking, as well as a real Karoo Sheep farm experience. Additionally, guests can visit nearby attractions such as Montagu Hot Springs(50 km), 4×4 routes and Aquila Game Reserve

This peaceful Karoo farm provides beautiful natural plants and Blue Crane Birds. Guests can enjoy our lovely views of the Karoo landscape with mountains in the backdrop. In winter our farm is turned into a winter wonderland with occasional snow.

Route Description

From Cape Town: The farm is situated only an hour and a half away on the N1 from Cape Town, past Worcester and de Doorns, turning right onto the R318 towards Montagu. (The turnoff is opposite Karoo 1 Guest lodge) The farm Sandvlei is situated on the right hand side 27 km on the R318. 

From Montagu: Take the R 318 towards the N1, through the Koo valley for 50km. The farm, Sandvlei is on the left hand side as you go over Rooihoogte, opposite the Nougaspoort road. 

Touwsriver: Take the N 1 towards Cape Town. Take the turnoff left towards the R318 Montagu. Opposite Karoo 1 guest lodge. The farm Sandvlei is situated on the right hand side 27km down the road.
