Arendsig Handcrafted Wines

Established in 2004, Arendsig Handcrafted Wines has been dedicated to crafting exceptional Single Vineyard wines under the care of Lourens van der Westhuizen, winemaker and owner. As a fifth-generation farmer and the first in his family to become a winemaker, Lourens brings a deep respect for the land to every bottle.

Each of our Single Vineyard Wines is created with minimal intervention, allowing the unique character of each site to shine. Fermentation relies on natural yeasts, with no added enzymes, and maturation takes place in neutral vessels to preserve the vineyard’s distinct qualities. This hands-on, artisanal approach ensures every bottle reflects the true essence of its origin, delivering a balanced and authentic wine experience.
