360on62 Mountain View Farm Cottages is an ideal place to escape big-city life, and immerse yourself in nature. We invite you to visit us at our farm and relax in one of our five beautifully designed self-catering cottages or one of our 5 self-catering units (very similarly styled to the cottages) that form part of the old farmhouse.
Fish Eagle and Nonnetjie Cottages both have two bedrooms and can sleep 4 people; James’ Honeymoon, Pale Chanting and Bokmakierie Cottages are one-bedroom 2-sleeper cottages. Pale Chanting and Fish Eagle both have indoor showers and outdoor bathtubs (Fish Eagle Cottage also has an outdoor shower) as well as wood-fired hot tubs, and Nonnetjie and Bokmakierie both have indoor bath-tubs and outdoor showers – all with wonderful views. James’ Honeymoon has an indoor shower and bath-tub (both with majestic views) and an outdoor wood-fired hot tub.
Our 5 self-catering units that form part of the old farmhouse are all 1-bedroom units that sleep 2 people each. 3 of the units have wood-fired hot tubs, 2 of which also have outdoor showers.
We also have a lovely wood-fired hot-tub that takes 4-6 people next to our dam for your enjoyment.
With 360-degree views of the majestic Swartberg & Langeberg mountain ranges surrounding us, we promise the most magical sunrises & sunsets, beautiful walking, hiking, running and mountain bike trails, wine-tastings and plenty of activities either on the farm or nearby to keep you entertained during your stay.
We have a beautiful large pool area, an outdoor shower, free wifi at the cottages / units and in the main public areas nearby and a large beautiful dam around which you can walk, kayak or just relax. We also have two pizza bars where guests are welcome to make use of our pizza oven and honesty bar or simply elax, play a game of darts or use one of our several board games available for guests.
We looking forward to sharing our little paradise with you.
If you are coming from the Cape Town side:
Drive through the town of Montagu – then from the “end” of Montagu you will cross the Kingna River bridge shortly after exiting the town, drive about 7.8 km to the Rietvlei No. 1 turnoff where you turn left. Drive 600 m on dirt road. Turn left where the road splits (onto tar). First gate on the right is us.
If you are coming from the Barrydale side:
Drive approx 53 km after leaving the small town of Barrydale – then take the SECOND Rietvlei No. 1 turnoff (i.e. you will see a ‘Rietvlei No. 1’ turnoff at around 51 km – ignore that one, take the next one) where you turn right. Drive 600 m on dirt road. Turn left where the road splits (onto tar). First gate on the right is us.
