Birding BIG DAY at Vrolijkheid

It's almost time for our annual Boerie Braai at Vrolijkheid Nature Reserve. 7th December

This year is extra special, as it's combined with the BirdLife South Africa Birding Big Day. If you've not yet registered a team, you can do so at https://www.birdlife.org.za/.../events/birding-big-day-2024
Can't get a team together, but still want to take part? Let us know and we may be able to put you in touch with other 'singles'.

Birders can start from 6am, and Sistars Home Baked will be there from 8 to provide coffee, lunch and snacks until about 2pm.

The boerie braai starts at 3, for birders and non-birders. Friends of Vrolijkheid will provide the boerie rolls, so just bring your drinks and sides (and anything else you may need)

There will also be indigenous plants and trees from Rooiberg Breede River Conservancy for sale, at cost price.
