Sunday lunch has a particularly good plan this week:
Start with a smoked trout tartlet, served on wild rocket with a fennel and white wine sauce.
Continue with roast leg of pork, creamy mustard sauce, crackling, oven-roasted potatoes, pumpkin fritters with caramel sauce, and steamed broccoli with buttered almonds.
Finish with baked apple and toffee pudding, served with cinnamon custard and vanilla ice cream.
A proper Sunday lunch from first course to last spoonful.
