Kingfisher Cottages

The off-the-grid trout farm is located 26 km from Montagu and offers guests a wide range of activities including fishing, swimming, and mountain trails. Giant (wheelchair friendly), Brown-hooded and Pied Cottages are newly built eco-friendly cottages build using natural building materials and techniques and are located about 1km down the valley from the main farm. These three are unfortunately not pet-friendly. Malachite Cottage (pet-friendly) is a charming two-sleeper stone cottage adjacent to the main farm house with its own private enclosed garden.

Route Description

From Montagu take R 318 to “Koo Valley” and N1
Continue on Tar road for 12km
Take turn-off Right to Pietersfontein (Gravel Road); Continue for 9km
At small settlement (below earth dam), turn right onto small dirt road, past the Farm „Mooi Erfnis‟
Continue for 4.8km until reaching the RECEPTION of KINGFISHER COTTAGES on your left.
