The name Fynbos originates from an Old Dutch word: ‘fine bush’. It refers not to one, but to all the plants associated with the mountains of South Africa’s Cape region and thus forms part of the Cape Floral Kingdom.
This unique shop in the heart of Montagu, reflects beauty, tranquility and diversity, a real treasure worth while visiting while in Montagu and surroundings.
Here you will find vintage clothing, collector’s items, old porcelain items, artisan soap and botanicals, jewelry, fresh flowers, pottery, printed cushions, wall hangings and paintings, printed aprons, cloths and much, much more.
We also have a goldsmith at Fynbos. Carin is available on Thursdays to discuss your needs regarding new designs or re-designing / repairs of your jewelry or watches.
Flowers @ Fynbos offers a wide selection of fresh, seasonal flowers and does deliveries of bunches or bouquets where needed.
We support local artisans and most of our products are coming from the Little Karoo, Karoo and Western Cape.
