Four-Oaks Guesthouse is situated right in the centre of town and forms part of the rich history of Montagu. It is the 3rd oldest building in town and is within walking distance of the museum and other historic sites.

Four quaint rooms all open onto a court yard, where guests are often found sitting and enjoying some quiet time, or sharing a glass of wine. An enclosed garden is found on the side of the property with a beautiful selection of plants, here you can quietly sit and enjoy the mountains view.

Few guest houses in Montagu can boast about having an in-house restaurant. MonTQ Restaurant and Coffee shop, with food and service in a class of its own, offers you an opportunity to pair this eating experience with world renowned wines of the surrounding estates

After an extensive revamp of the premises in consultation with world renowned adventure chef, David Grier and acclaimed artist Louis Storm. Combining their vast experience, Christoff and Lana’s dream was brought to reality.

New kitchen, menus, décor, food design and with a Deli and Bistro still to come it has arrived. MonTQ restaurant has become a home from home. A lifestyle fine dining restaurant and coffee shop, offering fresh, unique food crafted from local ingredients a one of a kind eating experience in the Western Cape.

Route Description

• From Cape Town take the N1 towards Worcester
• From Worcester take the R60 towards Robertson
• Follow the R60 through Worcester and Robertson towards Ashton
• From Ashton the R60 becomes the R62 towards Montagu
• As you enter Montagu you will drive along Long Street
• We are no 46 Long street – Thatched monument with sign board in front
